1971 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop Deluxe. Selling a lot of gear from Smart Studios...legendary studio where Nirvana Recorded Nevermind, Smashing Pumpkins first 2 albums, Beck, etc... This guitar is original, functions perfectly and plays and sounds incredible. Comes with hardcase possibly original. Excellent frets and super low action. The original pickups sound warm, rich, and have that vintage Les Paul tone. Amazing sustain nice medium to light weight. Super Cool patina on this Goldtop- lots of checking and authentic mojo! Headstock break was fixed in the 70's with the best and most difficult technique possible by a master luthier. It is completely stable and as if there was never an issue...very smooth repair....check photos.This has been an integral part of this studio! Theres no telling what it was used on out of the hundreds of great recordings that happened here. good luck bidding!
