MINT- Not even a pick mark. I tested it once to make sure it worked properly and I installed a new set of D'Addario 9.5-44 strings. That's it. The action is flawless. I put it back in it's case where it has been since 2014 when I purchased it new. **FYI - you can use any brand strings you prefer on these guitars. You are not limited to the quick change/ ball on each end strings made by Steinberger. It is a 28-5/8' scale guitar, it has an integrated rolling capo (that can be removed if you prefer), and has a piezo/acoustic bridge for unprecedented flexibility. Play it open and it's a baritone; roll the built-in capo up a couple of frets and it's a normal 25-1/2" guitar.
