This Tweed Deluxe clone uses the standard 5E3 - 1957 Tweed deluxe circuit,except we put a different value cap in the Bright Channel(CH. 1)that allows less lows in that channel preamp, So when the channel is overdriven or used with a Humbucker it is less "farty" than an original. Channel 2 is stock.Also has the added standby switch the originals did not have.It is made with Vintage 50's era Power and Output Transformers, Vintage real Jensen P12R speaker(RJ variant)It is loaded with Vintage 50's tubes (2)6V6-(2)12AX7-5Y3 (all tubes tested strong on our Hickok 533a)With the 2-6V6 it puts out about 12-15 watts.It uses new Carbon Comp resistors in the audio path, and is built with good MojoTone parts(Caps/Pots/wire/tube sockets)Cab is handmade finger joined pine, covered in real cloth Tweed.Soundclip - Single coil Strat - Normal channel 1/2 Vol then Bright Channel Various VolumesIf you want a vintage sounding Amp without paying Vintage prices.This might just be the amp for you.PLEASE NOTE- This is a new build, but as it uses used/vintage parts it is sold as a USED Amp.
