Gibson Les Paul Custom 1979 Black Beauty body neck project PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION!NO RETURNS ACCEPTED - SOLD AS IS This guitar was born a Gibson Les Paul Custom in 1979 in Kalamazoo on Nov 19th 1979. Later in its life due to a flood, the neck had to be replaced. It is also a 3-piece maple neck like the original with a fat “U” profile but now has a long tenon like the 1957 customs. It retains the original Gibson headstock overlay, original binding throughout the body and neck, ebony fret board with original mother of pearl block inlays and new frets. It was refinished in black gloss nitro cellulose as in the 50's - 60's. There was also work done on the top of the body. The body is authentic Gibson. The original serial # was 73239004 but it was not imprinted on the new neck. I do not have much more information than this, I bought this body as a project that I will no longer be doing it.Again, this is a project guitar. This need parts and work to be done. Missing parts and work are NOT included in this listing and the body is sold as-is. All the information above was sent to me from the original seller. Weights 9.8 lbs. with all parts.Parts included with the guitar is a new set of Grover USA Tuners, Tune a matic bridge and Stop tailpiece in chrome. The nut is loose and need to be replaced (I will be sending a brand new Graph tech TUSQ jumbo Gibson nut that I bought for it) and an aged Gibson Les Paul Truss Rod Cover It will be sent in the hard shell plush lined case pictured.There are few wear scratches overall, some marks on the neck and wrinkle on the clear coat of the headstock. I tried to reflect all details on the pictures. Please be aware that the guitar is sold as is and no returns are accepted. Ask all your questions before bidding and only when you are comfortable and aware of what you are getting. All modifications are already factored in the price of the guitar.Payment is expected within 2 hours of the purchase. Non paid items will be re-listed and you will be escalated to eBay.
