For sale is an early 1900s/late 1800s Lyons and Healy "Mystic" five string banjo in good playing condition. These were produced for years in Chicago as a sort of mid-level model. Eb0ny fretboard, mah0gany neck with pearl inlays. Diameter of the head is 11", 2 3/8" depth at the side of the rim. Recently restrung with a new head and bridge. Original friction tuners. In good playing condition with obvious signs of wear and tear (marks/scratches throughout, a missing piece of inlay, chipped but functional nut). Sweet tone excellent for clawhammer, frailing or any traditional style really. Contact the store for more info!
