Breedlove a capitalisé sur son expérience industrielle chez Taylor pour produire des guitares à la qualité de fabrication absolument parfaite, avec une finesse et un confort de manche Au-delà des performances techniques, Breedlove a raffiné le design de ses instruments (le profil de la tête est admirable !) ce qui leur confère une véritable personnalité, tout en gardant des lignes classiques, élégantes et authentiques. C’est particulièrement vrai sur cette série Oregon, qui utilise le bois local (provenant de l’état de l’Oregon aux USA, comme le nom l’indique) : le bois de myrte massif. Ce bois rare typique de la région possède un veinage clair et un son équilibré. Il est mis en valeur par une finition "semi gloss", qui confère un aspect et un toucher similaire à une finition satinée, tout en conservant la résistance et la protection d'un vernis haut de gamme. La table en épicéa de Sitka est quant à elle taillée dans une pièce de bois de qualité A+++, comme en témoigne le veinage très chenillé qu’on ne voit généralement que sur des guitares de luthier. Les amateurs ne s’y trompent pas, car c’est là le signe d’une qualité sonore tout à fait exceptionnelle. La construction originale de la caisse, avec un barrage spécifique et une profondeur légèrement plus importante que sur une guitare standard, confèrent à cette guitare une puissance et caractère sonore unique, qui conviendront aussi bien pour le jeu en rythmique ou au médiator que pour le picking ou le fingerstyle.

Breedlove capitalized on his industrial experience at Taylor to produce guitars with absolutely perfect manufacturing quality, with thin and comfortable necks. Beyond the technical performances, Breedlove has refined the design of its instruments (the profile of the head is admirable!) which gives them a true personality, while maintaining classic, elegant and authentic lines. This is particularly true of the Oregon series, which uses local wood (from the state of Oregon in the USA, as the name suggests): solid myrtlewood. This rare wood typical of the region has a clear veining and a balanced sound. It is highlighted by a semi-gloss finish, which gives a look and feel similar to a satin finish, while retaining the strength and protection of a high-end varnish. The Sitka spruce top is made from A +++ quality wood, as evidenced by the very chenille veining that is usually only seen on luthier guitars. The amateurs are not mistaken, because this is the sign of a sound quality quite exceptional. The original construction of the body, with a specific bracing and a slightly greater depth than on a standard guitar, gives this guitar a unique power and sound character that will suit both the rhythmic or the picking game as well as the picking Or fingerstyl.
