Breathtaking and exceptional 2014 Washed Cherry Sunburst 1958 Standard Historic Reissue in VOS FinishThe top on this one is absolutely stunning! In fact, it was recently featured on the MyLesPaul.com Instagram page. And with good reason. A near perfect blend of flame, grain, and mineral flecking on a beautifully finished washed cherry VOS finish. This is the original Burst that got it all started... And this one is not just another herringbone suit. Nice wide ribbons of flame with some real unique character. Extraordinary movement, depending on the light and angle. And just the right amount of fade to be truly vintage looking. Gibson has returned to it's glory days with the new Custom Shop Historic Reissues. While these have the upgraded 2014 Historic specs, the top on this one is simply exceptional. And the washed cherry VOS finish on this one really captures the look. They are incredible guitars and this one is over the top. Not only is it a visual piece of art, it's a amazing player as well!Sonically they are phenomenal! Highs ring like a bell as they should with a very vintage, woody tone. Tremendous mids and low end clarity. And this one is in exceptional and unplayed condition. Very lightly aged by Gibson master craftsmen using the VOS process. The results are simply remarkable!Unfortunately, word is getting around quickly that these highly figured R8's we've been enjoying recently are going away this year, as we speak.
