1965 Supro Lexington I Beautiful, original example of the Lexington, brought to fame by Dan Auerbach during the "Brothers" era of the Black Keys' career. This is the simplest, single pickup version and it is in fantastic working condition, most recently played on a Gloe record (check Instagram for hashtags of it in action). It has a new nut and a very recent set-up (for recording). The rest of the guitar is original. Very little playwear or blemishes for its age. There is a tiny area of scratching on the back of the headstock and two small chips (one on the top and one by the high-e tuner). No pitting, no bucklerash, mild-to-moderate fretwear. There is no logo or indication that it ever had one as Valco often made these logo-less for department and music stores for the store to add their own. Tremolo works well and includes the original whammy bar. Tuners work well, one mildly bent shaft or two. This is a truly great example of a guitar that easily rivals the Jazzmasters of the same era ($4000 guitars). Includes gigbag in excellent condition for safe shipping. Flat-rate shipping is to insure that both shipping and loss & damage insurance- WE ALWAYS REFUND any extra shipping payment leftover (often the case with people in our USA region and Canada). Any questions about shipping cost- please inquire.
