This is a 1999 MIM (Made in Mexico) Fender Classic Player 60s Stratocaster in Lake Placid Blue finish. It has a rosewood fretboard and a cream 3 ply pick guard. This is a one owner guitar in excellent condition. The neck is perfect, free from all marks and with virtually no fret wear. The body is near perfect, with only one very small mark on the front where your right arm would rest. This is small enough that it may not be visible in the pictures.There have been two modifications made to this guitar. The bridge saddles have been changed out at some point and Fender American Standard pickups were installed. This is an upgrade from the rather weak pickups that these early MIM CP 60s had. The guitar come in a non-Fender hard shell case as shown in the last picture.
