We take pride in our work and endeavour to return vintage and antique pianos to their original condition and mechanically sound, playing well,in tune and with no malfunctions.Our reconditioning process includes removing all brass fittings for cleaning and burnishing.The mechanism is removed, inspected, cleaned and repaired if necessary. All screws are tightened and hammers aligned.The case is cleaned, waxed and burnished. The strings are cleaned and tuned.Finally, the piano is reassembled and our in house technician will proceed with final tuning and regulations. FINISH: The case has been stripped and professionally re-finished, gloss black, to a high standard in our workshop. MECHANISM: The action has been removed for inspection, cleaning, adjusting and regulating by our head technician. It is in perfect working order. KEYBOARD: The key tops have been cleaned and polished. They are all in perfect condition with no chips or discoloration. FITTINGS: The brass castors, hinges, pedals and all the brass screws have been burnished. SOUND BOARD: Is in good condition with no splits, it has been cleaned and polished. STRINGS: The strings have been cleaned and tuned to concert pitch (A=440). Formally owned by a talented musician, this instrument has been well treated and has suffered no abuse from its two previous owners. It has been well maintained and tuned every year since 1991.
