Jay Bereck has retired , so his legacy remains with his remaining pieces he has created these many years . Beautiful Cherry wood 11" head Conga. Signed by Jay in 1985 or 86. No polyurethane has ever been applied , only dutch oil has been used on finish, so sound breathes through. Heads are from Jays shop. No cracks, seams are tight. "Beauty Marks " come with no apologies and are not severe and can be buffed as you please, if you please. (I like them). Two small holes are on side, these are conga stand holder holes used for orchestrated shows . If you don't use a stand at times, fill them neatly or put a handle on it, or plaque for I.D. . ( I have seen all of these done.) The quality is not affected.Gorgeous Cherry wood.Questions will be honestly answered . As you can see from my description, I try to let you know as much as I know, and am open to requests. I will pay for shipping costs in the U.S.A. excluding Alaska, and Hawaii . Buyer will be responsible to pay for packing fees and insurance . A small fee of $ 15.00 may be applied for transit and handling.
