Newly-built Weber 6M45P 45W guitar head, partly based on the M*rsh*ll Plexi amp. Some have called this the "Super Plexi". To learn more about this amp, go to the tedweber dot com website. It is an enhanced version of their 6M45.It is a non-master amp with full TMB tone stack, normal and bright channels. What sets it apart from the 6M45 is an incredible increase in the amount of power supply filter capacitors.Some upgrades I performed:
Instead of using the vulcanized fiberboard for the main circuit board, I made an epoxy turret board.
Instead of the small fiberboard for the capacitors, I made an epoxy turret board and mounted it on the top of the chassis.
I used Orange Drop capacitors.The amp really sounds good and is loud and powerful. No issues.Cabinet is black with gold piping.
