Fender does it again with another incredible Limited Edition Stratocaster, circa 1965. With vintage looks and serious muscle under the hood, this Strat is a Hot Rod of tone and playability. Cosmetically, this guitar has been given a “pristine condition” Closet Classic treatment, meaning there are no dents or dings in this guitar, only beautiful finish checking over classic Lake Placid Blue paint. The fretboard is bound in white binding with tinted lacquer on the back of the neck covering the side of the binding, creating a very cool and unique look. Now let’s talk about the muscle under the hood. This Custom Shop instrument is equipped with hand wound Abby Red Hot pickups in all positions, has a modern 5-way selector switch, a tone control that covers the middle and bridge PU, and one for the neck PU, and Dunlop 6105 frets. Top this all off with a 9.5” radius, and this guitar is ready to be rocked.
