What makes this guitar special: A super cool '62 Vintage Reissue Esquire Custom made in Japan & finished in Candy Apple Red. The guitar is incredibly resonant & the single-coil bridge pickup sounds amazing, delivering that signature Esquire tone! The super comfy neck plays great up & down the fretboard & a pro set up from the experts at Cream City Music ensures the guitar is ready for action straight out of the case!Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused with typical play wear - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, light buckle rash & some mild finish wear. Overall the guitar looks great for being 30 years old!
Neck: Nicely rounded B-shape maple neck with dark rosewood fingerboard & pearloid dot inlays. Frets show a tiny bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Vintage style tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition. Pencil date on the neck reads 5-15-86.Body: Double-bound, solid alder body in Candy Apple Red finish. The body is factory routed for a neck pickup & wire channel. String-thru bridge with vintage-style adjustable saddles. The guitar originally had an 8-hole pickguard on it, but currently has a 5-hole single-ply black guard from WD. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 6.8 oz.Pickup: Single-coil Tele bridge pickup - 6.09K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with knurled dome knobs; 3-way selector switch. Position 1 is tone all the way up; position 2 tone can be adjusted; position 3 is tone rolled all the way off. All electronics are in perfect working condition.Case: Black tolex hardshell case included.
