You are bidding on a GIULIETTI CLASSIC 127 CONTINENTAL V 5 ROW BASSETTI FREE BASS ACCORDION The chromatic 5-row free bass allows incredible flexibility when approaching all genres of music. The left hand can perform the full range of orchestration, same as the right hand. This is a full size 19 ¼ keyboard. This instrument is in tune. Ownership: I am the original owner of this beautiful accordion and it was purchased in 1975, brand new. It is in good condition with normal wear and tear. Reeds: 4/2 sets of hand-made Giulietti reeds. The leathers are in great shape with NO curling. The Wooden Double Tone Chamber helps to create that sought after “Giulietti Sound” with its warmth and power. Treble & Bass Keyboards: Both the treble and bass keyboards are smooth and quick! The bass range goes from deep low “E” to high “G” (E1 – G6). The treble keyboard is extended with a range from “F” to high “B”. Shifts: TREBLE: 11 shifts (1 bank) plus a Palm Master. BASS: 7 shifts (Master, High , Low, duplicated) Bellows and Straps: BELLOWS: are in good shape with tight compression. BASS STRAP: is new and in great shape. BACK PAD: is in good condition. STRAPS: are mismatched but in good shape. HARDWARE: The top (strap bracket) was replaced and moved. The old screw were left intact (see picture). The bottom bellows strap is in good shape. Electronics: This “box” has 3 stereo mics on the treble side a Giulietti mic on the left hand. There are separate tone and volume controls for the treble and bass mics. Case: The case is worn from doing its job but still very sturdy. Shipping: I will only ship in the continental U.S. and the shipping is FREE. The accordion is sold “as-is” with NO returns.
