Description
Brand: VOX

This is super rare and hard to find stuff. You can search the internet with lot information about, but these amps were not so many produced. Probably about 2k only 1966-70 era. Used by The Beatles, The Who, Clapton and Rolling Stones.. just a few. It was one of the George Harrison amps for stage and studio. Its really rare opportunity to get the piece of music history close to new condition for any collector or guitarist. Great investment! Here is the small quote from the Beatles Gear book by Andy Babiuk: Vox started design the new amp for Fab Four in 1966 when group had returned to Abbey Road Studios.. The principial new amp was “the revised version of last the Beatle amp”, with Vox called the SUPREME. This has built-in fuzz, treble boost, middle-range boost, reverb, volume and tremolo all of which controllable from buttons on a footplate. Each pushbutton has a red light to indicate when the effect it represents is in use..” Supreme was the most expensive guitar amp that era on the planet. .. AC30 in 60ties was extremely popular but this amp was rare that era and only a few are exist. Probably no one in that kind of condition. There is no footswitch but its very easy to do it yourself. There is lot schemes for it in web. The AC plug is modified from old English type to classic wire. I will add the genuine old plug so You can easy back to original state. Its job for 2 min if You like.. If you got any questions dont hesitate to ask.Offers welcome!!! On my other auctions you will find other vintage instruments and studio stuff..
