Here's a Fantastic Paul Reed Smith that was meticulously "Upgraded"! We started with just the neck & body, and replaced every single component including all the electronics...First, The craftsmanship of the body/Neck & Frets were "Flawless" from the PRS factory. I would put this guitar up against anything USA seriously...I was amazed myself... Here's what we did to bring this Axe "Beyond" anything that you could buy off a shelf...We used all USA HIGH end replacements parts. Lets start from the headstock down...First, we installed "New" Planet Waves Tuners (The absolute "smoothest" tuners I've ever used). Next is the "TUSQ" Nut for slick string sliding when you use the Tremolo...It really stays in tune as well as a double locking tremolo, and that's amazing in itself. The Frets were Leveled & Crowned (needed very minimal work). The Fret Board's Rosewood was polished using a great product. The Pick-Ups are GuitarHeads Pups, and both "High Gain" Bridge & the FAT/ Thick "Tone" Neck PAF sound Super Great. Metal chrome pick up rings. New Vol/Tone Knobs. The saddles are also the "TUSQ" brand to marry the nut up top, so blasting away on the tremolo isn't an issue to keeping this Axe in tune! Electronics are all USA CTS Pots "Orange" tone Capacitors. New wiring, Switchcraft Input & Switch...Even the Trem cover was "customized" using "Camo" skateboard decking as a cover...holds nice and snug to the body when jamming. Plays like a Dream & Sounds Killer. Comes with PRS Original "Padded" Gig Bag...Open to reasonable offers...I have about $1000 into this guitar, and a lot of quality time. The guitar was just noodled with...no heavy playing, or playing at length. I just tested out the Baby for the most part after the build, so it's essentially "New". I have a bunch of guitars, so I've been told by Lady Mia (da wyff) that a few have to go :-) Thanks Guys!
