Up for sale is a 2006 concert classical guitar made by Michael Thames in New Mexico, USA. Thames is a well known young and productive luthier whose guitars are played by some of the best concert artists in the world. This particular guitar features cedar top and Indian rosewood back and sides with 20th fret across 1st and 2nd strings. It sounds like a Houser guitar with very clear bell-like treble with eveness all over the fretboard, and beautiful sound separation. Very big volume although it is not the double-top or composite top, with traditional tone. Very nice concert instrument in every way! A brand new Thames guitar at this quality right now sells for over $7500. This is the best chance to own a quality Thames guitar at a reasonable price with mature sound and tone with everything setup professionally.Full DisclosureThere is no any structure repair or modification on this guitar. An extra ebony were added to the original fretboard by a local luthier to make the 20th fret across 1st and 2nd strings. There is a little string burn on the surface under the first string and very few surface marks, that has been touched up with clear coat.
