Quite an impossible find: A near mint HOHNER CLAVINET in original condition with all parts and accessories. (a plexiglass glass stand is missing, they can be found again)This Hohner Clavinet D6 is in perfect or mint condition. It plays great and all pick-ups are working. The filter switches (for soft/medium/treble/brilliant) do not work. I did inspect the switches and the board but couldn't find a visible defect. A technician should have a look at it. I am using the instrument in the studio and would recommend a change of hammer tips in the near future. They are available from several manufacturers and cost about $30. Included is its original adjustable stand (tilts) and the carrying pouch. I bought the instrument from an instrument dealer in Germany. The D6 in the black case is the most sought after Clavinet due to its portability and redesigned case, including better shielding and a noise filter in the circuit. It sounds like its wooden predecessor. There is no sample fit for Superstition. If you ought to be funky you must play this instrument. This instrument has hardly a scratch on the tolex, the lid has all handles and it’s hinges work solid. The unit works on a 9V battery, or with a regular 9V adapter.
