This is a silvertone 1453 in really nice condition. There are some nicks and scratches on the edges of the guitar along with the back and headstock. Over all it is in really nice shape. Straight neck! And it plays better than any other rebel, bobkat, silhouette I have owned. The tuners have been replaced with a new set of klusons that fit and work perfectly. Originals were hot garbage and I can't find them. The knobs are not original and the bezel on the neck was swapped for a shorter period correct one because strings were buzzing from hitting the neck pickup when you played up the neck. Both pickups have original coils. Bridge reads 11k and neck is at 9.6k. Neck especially is one of the most harmonically rich goldfoils I have heard. Pickups were both remagnetized and the lead on the bridge pickup was replaced with identical dearmond wire sold by dearmond pickups on ebay. It had weak signal when I got it and the orginal lead looked all jacked up. Whether remagnetizing the pickup or swapping out the lead fixed it, I dont know but it is fixed and sounds really strong now. I have owned a lot of harmony guitars and this one is top notch. I love it, but I run a small business and that takes precedence. This is a stage and studio ready instrument(as much as any harmony rebel can be). The guitar was recently set up by Brandon of Madrid Guitars. The whammy works great.
