USED Fender Strat Ultra c1991 with case
Here we have a great example of this guitar in Sunburst with a tasty flame maple top and back.
Upgraded trem otherwise all original.
Serial number dates it at 1991
Original hard case and ALL the original swing tags and case candy together with the info on the Blade Runner trem.
The old original trem arm is supplied.
The old trem is NOT supplied.
Fitted with the fantastic Super Vee Blade Runner trem system favoured by Mr Eric Johnson.
This one has the two pivot blade system.Condition:
Body - excellent example.
There are a few minor scratches and dents here and there. I have tried to photo the most noticeable.
There's just two worth mentioning:
The first is a dent on the front of the body about 5mm square just below the trem.
The second is a chip on the headstock about 8mm long just under the "Made in USA" part.
Overall it's pretty tidy and looks awesome.Neck - back of the neck is fairly clean
Fretboard is in very very good condition. I couldn't see any signs of wear.Frets - these are in pretty good shape too, but again you'll see from the photo of the close up of the fingerboard that the first 5 or 6 frets do have signs of wear in the form of very very slight dimples and flattening.
There's plenty of life in them. Doesn't look like it's had a fret dress, nor would I actually bother with one as it plays GREAT !!
Hardwear - the hardwear is in very good condition.
Machineheads - locking ! And in good condition and working well.Playability:
This guitar has just had a legendary Guitar Mania service so it has a fast and low action, and has had the intonation, truss rod and action adjusted so it plays superb. AND sounds great too - all the tone and bags of sustain.Electrics:
We have tested and played the guitar and all the electrics are in excellent working order at the time of testing however one MUST expect the odd scratchy pot noise or crackly switch / jack socket from time to time. All this is comensurate with a guitar of this age and exactly as expected.Case:
