At the time, this guitar came only with a push/pull switch pot (tone) which did pickup coil-tap on pull up, for a Fender-like sound. Now this switch pot is moved to volume (still doing the coil-tap) and in place of tone I added a BECOS Micro Booster witch is an amazing magnetic booster on-board circuit, with variable gain and push/push switch-pot for true bypass (switch in normal/down position). On one picture with the back of guitar, you can see a trim pot flash to electronics cover - that's booster's gain trimmer which can be adjusted with a small screwdriver. The tone control functions just as before. I installed it in place of tone instead of volume, because I found is more easily engaged this way, being further away from tremolo bar. You could google "BECOS Micro Booster" to find out more information about it. In fact, you could also hear this guitar as this was used for a BECOS booster demo on their Youtube Channel. It sounds absolutely great! Other than this addition which updates guitar's sound possibilities to the newest models, the guitar has all stock specifications, which can be found on Music Man website. It includes the original instrument case with the BFR metallic tag on the inside pouch and I will add a fresh set of Slinky 10-46 strings with it. Please note: the case has a small issue where the finishing tollex is a bit ripped on a side - probably the guitar moved inside the case during transportation due to inertia and pushed against the thinner plywood on the side of the case and that in turn pushed against the tollex cover and fracture it a bit. It is the way I received it. It is barely seen, if you take a closer look, and the case is same as sturdy as before. I never bothered to claim a case exchange for this minor issue. If you need to see pictures of this - just ask - I'll mail it. I have more pictures available, but I can only add 12 in this listing, and I've chosen to upload detail pictures, to better see the pristine condition this guitar is in.
