Lewis guitar HB 1 serial #1 This is the first of its model
Hollowed out cherry body with a walnut top.
Highly flamed cedar neck with a trapezoidal profile.
27 fret cocobolo fretboard. There is a non adjustable truss rod made from a sturdy copper pipe. It is a 5/8 inch type L pipe. The neck has got a backbow from the compression of the frets but every note plays and the action is not bad. Under 3/32nds" at the 12th and just over 4/32nds" at the 24th fret. The lower frets are low action. Hipshot open gear tuners, white high polished bone nut, mighty mouse tune o matic style bridge. Danish oil finish is a matte lustre, feels fantastic and smooth. Lightweight and ergonomic guitar. 6.78 lbs. Great single coil sound, and 3 way switching with volume and tone. When both are engaged they work as humbucker with no interference noise being present due to the reverse wound reverse polarity on one pickup. The trapezoidal neck profile is different but may surprise you. It's very natural feeling. Buy it now or make an offer to own a unique handmade guitar that feels and sounds terrific.
