Rare model "RD" which was only produced for about two years since 1977. There is a grade with Standard / Custom / Artist, this machine "RD Artist" is the top model of the RD series. Equipped with an original active circuit which was produced by co-development with Dr. Robert Moog, the creator of "moog" familiar with analog synthesizer, it is possible to switch between equalizer / compressor / expander. Body shape is an original shape reminiscent of Firebird, wood material called maple body, maple neck, ebony fingerboard. In addition, Gibson adopts an unusual long scale, and the tension sense of moderate strings is also unique in this model. The sound is also intense, it is possible to make various sounds from the piezo style sound by the original circuit to the metallic and aggressive aggressive sound. It is a rare model that ended short-lived, but sometimes used by various famous artists, it's a secret popular rare model !! 【SPEC】
