This folk instrument is considered an Irish Bouzouki as it has a flat back. Its eight strings can be turned a few different ways, and is most often tuned here in the States like a Mandolin but an octave lower - GDAE low to high paired strings. It can also be tuned like its namesake, Irish, GDAD and ADAD. This purchase comes with a gig bag. Any other information would be appreciated.
