I am having to sell my joy because of a hand injury which prevents me from playing well. This piano has been totally rebuilt and the case has been refinished beautifully. It is a 5' 8" grand that was built in 1908. The serial number is 111734. This can be checked online. It was built during the great piano building era. This is an ornately designed piece with the wonderfully sculpted legs and original bench that is pristine condition.The rebuild cost close to $12,000. Every aspect has been replaced including keys, strings, pin blocks, etc. Also a heater and humidifier were installed to help keep it in this great condition. The original design has not been changed only renewed. It appears as it did 109 years ago when first built. It plays perfectly and has a very pleasing tone. It has a middle action response.I would be glad to help in the shipping process if needed. I have researched two companies that both have good reviews. They practice white-glove treatment and have reasonable rates. Both ship nationwide.Please remember that pianos selling for less are in used condition and probably will not play properly and probably cannot be tuned and brought back into resonance. My grand has truly been restored to perfect condition which cost a lot of money to accomplish. The case has been refinished and looks absolutely beautiful. The piano was expertly tuned by a technician who has 32 years experience about five months ago. He said it is in great shape and able to be easily tuned with only three keys slightly out. He said this was a really nice grand.
