1940 GIBSON L-50 VINTAGE ARCHTOP GUITAR with pearl inlayed script logo (not silk screened) and CARVED spruce top. Pre WWII, Gibson had access to the most incredible timbers in the world. It was a very special time in guitar making history, and the  construction and build quality of those instruments is bar none. This guitar is loud thick and full, in incredible condition for it's 77 year old age, and comes with it's original hard case which is solid and incredibly built as well.I have recorded a small demo video of this guitar.VIDEO LINK HERE: https://youtu.be/rLxDoFcWh9w A beautiful player with a rock solid heel join and a straight neck, easily adjustable, and a tone like nothing we've heard before. Clear, crisp and powerfull is how this instrument ought to be described. And it rings for days with the most beautiful oscillating sustain.Set up with a smooth low action and 12-53 Elixir strings.Absolutely everything on this guitar appears to be original, aside from the floating bridge. It appears that the bridge was at some point changed from rosewood to ebony.Any questions please contact me on 0401720305. Happy bidding. www.valiantmusic.com.au
