We wound the bridge to give you chords with lots of bright harmonics, and solos have that sharp single coil cut. It uses two Alnico 2 bar magnets for more sustain and softer attack. And the metal covers provide more shielding and noise reduction than standard soapbar covers. Pair with our Phat Cat neck model for a complete set. Hand built in Santa Barbara, CA, the Phat Cat uses dual Alnico 2 bar magnets, custom nickel or gold cover, nickel silver bottom plate, and single-conductor braided hookup wire.
