1967 EB-2C Gibson base with treble push-button control.  I played one of these in my New Orleans cover band in 1966-1970, and loved the switch to treble on bass solos, as in "Brown-Eyed Girl,"  or, more recently, the bass solo intro to  Debbie Davis's "Can't Live Like this no More."
The factory serial # is 890776, stamped on the inside orange sticker.  However, there is also a 72328 stamped on tip of the peghead (see photos of both).  According to George Gruhn, "the number in the peghead does not appear to have been stamped by the Gibson factory."  So, who knows where the second # originated.
No mods, no repairs.  Bought in 2005 and kept in its original case in climate-controlled room.  Plays well. Slight scratch sound in treble push-button.  According to Gruhn's photo-appraisal in August 2015, the market value of this guitar is $2,500.  (Appraisal will be included with the guitar.)Buyer pays shipping; with insurance, estimate around $60.
