Beautiful gold mounted cello bow by Armin Schlieps, ca. 1975- great Pernambuco stick- Gold mounted- Perfect weight- 82,5 g- Bow is in very good condition. It is well balanced, has a strong stick and draws a big soloistic sound. A fantastic bow.About the maker:Armin Schlieps (1931–2005), was an illustrious bow maker (Archetier). He was born on June 25, 1931 in Wipuri, Finland. He studied the craft with his father. In 1950 he immigrated to New York City, where he was invited to work for Rembert Wurlitzer as restorer. Soon after in 1952, he established his own shop in Carnegie Hall. He later moved to Seattle where he ran a successful shop. Armin Schlieps was trained in the Wurlitzer shop in New York City and became widely known for his repair work in the Seattle area from 1970 onward. - Bow will be shipped safely packed and insured with DHL after bank transfer or Paypal (only from a verified eBay member with confirmed email address).Shipping and packaging costs (including insurance):- EU & Switzerland: 40.- EUR- Rest of World: 70.- EURIf the buyer wishes express shipping or another courier it will cost additionally.International bidders are Welcome.
