The H8 Hirade concert classic is handcrafted in our pro series facility that has been building precision quality instruments over five decades. A sterling example of the luthier’s art, these classical guitars that bear the name of Master Luthier Mass Hirade are still built by hand in our Takamine pro facility in Japan. This guitar features a solid spruce top for powerful lows, shimmering mids and a clear high end. The solid rosewood back and sides enhance the projection and add to the overall beauty of the guitar. These instruments are designed and built to stand beside the finest classical guitars made today. Specifications: Top Solid Cedar, Back Solid Rosewood, Sides Solid Rosewood, Neck Mahogany, Finger Board Rosewood, Nut Width 1.675" (42.5 mm), Finish Gloss Natural, made in 1997. There is a hairline crack between the 3rd and 4th strings, see pics, that is cosmetic only. Previous owner had it professionally repaired and as you can see in the pics it its not very noticeable. There is also a ding on the upper face also pictured and also not very noticeable. It remains a very good looking guitar. It is a used concert quality guitar with a beautiful sound at an extremely modest price for such an item. Thank you for looking.
