Since being released in 1942 as a natural finish version of J-45, J-50 is loved by many musicians and boasts immovable popularity.
Spruce TOP, Mahogany SIDE & BACK, Mahogany NECK, Hakaranda Fingerboard & Bridge, Hakaranda Adj. 16 inch round shoulder of the saddle. The head angle is 14 degrees and the nut · wide is a narrow neck of 40 mm.
Originally it was exchanged for a glover that was an open-back peg made in Japan only found in 66 to 67 years old, then stepped up and bushed and replaced with the same age Kruison three pegs. Although it is a remodeling part, it is a feeling that it returned to the original in terms of specifications (lol), and the others do not have the addition of strap pins, keeping the original state.
The spruce used in TOP is very beautiful with the eyes emerging like a bead on the whole depending on the viewing angle. Weather check and small scratches are included as it is, but considering from the year, scratches are less, I think whether it will enter into the category of considerable beauty items.
The sound is a narrow-necked & adjustable bridge-like cutting edge, but the bass outage is good and the boxes are well vibrated. The shortness of the sustain peculiar to Hakaranda · saddle is not felt so much, the sound of the ceramic saddle is missing sound, the center of gravity of the sound is slightly shifted towards the bass, the sound is playing, while also enjoying the goodness of crispness while playing , It is quite nice sound that you can enjoy the feeling of boxing as well!
Neck condition is also good, the string height at present is set on the 12 frets on the 6th string side 2.5mm, the 1st string side about 2.0mm, but the saddle still moves either up and down, so you prefer You can set the height of the string. The frets are rubbed together and the height is a little low but the height of about 60% of the original remains, so we are not worried about the refill for the time being.
The case comes with a general-purpose hard case. Two of the four clasps are broken, but the remaining two will stop properly, so there is no problem with the function as a case.
