Piano Painting Service. Here at move and tune, we offer a bespoke piano refinishing service. From French Polishing, to painting we cover all aspects of Piano restoration. From either sourcing pianos to be refinished, or to refinish an existing piano we can do it all to the highest of standards. We only source the best OVERSTRUNG pianos. For example, a cost effective way to breathe new lift not a piano is to have it painted. Typical Work done:All action work is removed, keys stripped and brasswork removed. Action is inspected and any repairs made. Piano is then stripped, an undercoat applied, paint coat applied, then importantly a top coat of Satin Polyurethane is applied to protect the finish. Same applies to Staining and French Polishing. We collect, deliver then tune. Most importantly, I will give advice on the condition of any instrument. More complex work can be carried out, from restringing, refelting and general action repairs if necessary. We can also turn your piano into a desk, a dressing table or a bar - totally bespoke and custom made. Just give me a call to discuss. We are piano experts and all work is done to the highest of standards and guaranteed. Price quoted is for a paint and finish on a compact - medium size piano, collection and delivery charges apply.
