Listed here is a Yamaha 581 in EXCELLENT shape. The 581, while no longer made, was at one time the top model before the Yamaha handmade series. It features a .925 body and headjoint with a silver-plated mechanism. The lip-plate and riser are both .925 silver as well and are in perfect shape. This 581 employs a B foot as well as inline G with open holes. Pitch on this 581 is excellent and the tone is really rich, it's a great example of Yamaha's workmanship out of Japan in the late 90's and early 2000's. As a professional show player and doubler, this was my flute of choice for all my work for a decade. It comes with its original Yamaha case which is in mint condition. This flute has not been played regularly for a few years and might need a PC but it plays great right now. Pads are in really good shape and the spring feel fantastic. If you are a doubler looking for your forever flute or a younger player looking for an amazing step-up flute, you should look here. Happy hunting!
