Vintage translucent burgundy Guild S-50 Polara serial number 149230 this guitar plays excellent and sounds even better! Neck is straight, trussrod works, frets have player wear but do not need to be replaced. Comes with a letter from Gruhn guitars stating it was made late in the year 1976 (bicentennial). The guitars knobs are not original (sorry, I do not have the original ones). This guitar has always been taken care of and has never been abused, neck joint is nice and tight (really hard to see), the guitar does have scratches from use over the years that will not show up in photos (no dings), there is one scratch midway on the back of the neck that is through the finish but does not affect the playability (see photos). Overall I would have to say that the guitar is in good condition for its age, case kept, but does have player wear from age. This is a rare vintage guitar. Chrome hardware is in great shape, guitar comes with non original hard shell case in good condition.
