Stunning 1962 Gibson ES 335. The guitar is all original apart from the
following:Reftret - The guitar had been refretted when I purchased it. I had a
further refret done at Strung Out Guitars in Glasgow as I wasn't happy with
the existing one.Bigsby - Gibson themselves say the Bigsby may be factory fitted (it is
definetely an early sixties Bigsby) but cannot say with 100% certainty. The
arm of the bigsby appears to have been changed.Stop Tail - I have had Strung Out guitars remove the Bigsby and fit a
period correct Gibson stop bar (not a repro) as I prefer the guitar without
the Bigsby however the Bigsby will be included and can be fitted again
easily. With the removal of the Bigsby there is the "snake bite" drill
holes on the top and underside of the guitar however the finish underneath
has held well as you can see from the pictures. That's it, the rest of the guitar is completely original including 2 paf
pat no pickups and original hard case.***Before bidding please contact me for full detail of conditions for shipment if unable to collect. I will only ship this guitar if buyer accepts full
responsibility for risk of shipping. I will package the guitar according to buyer instructions and send full
photographic evidence. I will cover cost of shipping and insurance but once the guitar leaves my possession
the buyer will be entirely responsible for any claim should the guitar be damaged or lost in transit.***
