Great condition, been on a rack in a smoke free studio it's whole life besides when I shipped it to Black Lion Audio to get the XB Mod. I've recorded amazing sounding music with this 003 ranging from hip hop, rock, Metal, all the way to acoustic, soft piano type orchestral, symphonic band music. The reason I'm selling this is because I'm moving to Nashville, and I don't want to haul it across the country. I bought the Digidesign 003 Rack new in 2009 for $1,500 and spent $2,500 on the XB Mod plus $100 shipping it back and forth to Black Lion Audio totaling $4,100. Grant it if you bought it now you could buy one for about $300 to $450 so at a low $300 plus the Mod cost and shipping you're talking $2,900 and you'll have to wait for it to shipping you, then you ship it to Black Lion Audio, get modded which they can be slow because it's quality, and then shipped back to you, this is ready now. Also you run the risk of it being at a rag tag studio being ruffed up by not being secured to a rack mount. As you can see in the 3rd picture my studio is very clean and I take pride in not only my work but my gear as well, this is the brain of my studio so I babied it.
