This is a 1998 Deering Golden Era 5 string banjo. I am the original owner and the instrument is in excellent condition, no marks, nicks etc...I bought the instrument with the hopes of playing and improving but it just didn't happen. The banjo has been lightly played over the years by myself only. It's got a fantastic sound that just booms. It's too nice an instrument to not be played so I am hoping to sell it to a musician that will use and appreciate this professional grade banjo. All the equipment is original with the exception of the bridge that I upgraded when I went to Banjo Camp 10 years back. The hardshell case is the original one that my banjo came in when I purchased it. It's in fine shape too, no scratches, tears etc. You won't be disappointed and I hope that a real player picks up this instrument.
