#499 made in 2008. Excellent condition with beautiful tone. Extremely nice fit and finish. These were made in limited quantity out of special stock that Rolfe had saved from the 70's. Exquisite curly maple back and sides in a beautiful warm sunburst finish. Bridge base is made from 300 yr old timber recovered from Great Lakes which is also a nice touch. This mandolin comes w a bobelock case w built in hygrometer. I am simply thinning the herd, and don't play this mandolin like it should be played-so I'm offering it one time to give someone a chance to give it a good home. Thx for your interest. I also have a superior hard shell case if you prefer-it's covered in stickers but in excellent (like new) condition-I can send pics separately if you would prefer a hard shell case. Thx again.
