A collectible Gibson Les Paul - Heritage Series - Standard 80 - 1981 With original case. This guitar was made special by Gibson from beautiful 150 year old wood ( top ) for Bucky Barrett. There were only 5 of them made.. This guitar was used on Austin City Limits with Roy Orbison on August 5th, 1982. A video of the performance is available online. Chet Atkins said the Heritage series necks were the best Gibson ever made. In one of the photos, you can see the pick guard that was signed by Scotty Moore. Scotty and Bucky were dear friends. When Scotty moved his hand from the signing, his first name smudged as his hand glanced over the pick guard. Scotty's signature is in Sharpie, so no more of it will come off. It is included along with the new pick guard. This guitar plays and sounds incredible. Has been used on numerous recordings as well as 4 Albums by the Nashville Superpickers on Audiograph. It is like new. The handle on the case is broken, but has been replaced with a Peavey handle. Other than that, the guitar is perfection.
