Here for sale is by absolutely gorgeous Adamas II 1681-9 by Ovation.  I am sure if you are reading this you know all about these guitars.. and how rare and special they are!  Adamas is the height of Ovation's expertise.. and feature a special Carbon-Graphite top.  This is thin and strong and enables amazing resonance, combined with the Ovation bowl-back incredible sound and projection is produced by these instruments.  They also have a specially designed pickup system with mono or stereo outputs so sound amazing plugged in as well.Another notable thing about an Adamas guitar is just how beautiful it is.  The top has a beautiful colour and texture, blending through shades of brown with a gold fleck.  The neck is a beautiful finish with stripes of lighter wood inlaid in the back and the sound holes and design are lovely.  Even the tuners and strap buttons are gold plated!  Although a vintage guitar she has been looked after and is in good condition for such an early guitar!  The only marks are on the corner of the headstock, and around the rosettes of the top set of sound holes.  Please look closely at the pictures.. or ideally come and view in person if you are able.  She comes in her fitted Hiscox Liteflite hard case - the best protection for her as it is shaped to fit the bowl back.If you know anything about these you know they are sought after.. so the start price is very low for one of these.  There is no reserve, so she should find her value... or someone will get a bargain!I would prefer it if the winning bidder can collect, but if not I will wrap her well and send fully insured with a courier.  Please contact me before bidding if you are in Scotland, Northern Ireland or on an island just to check the cost of having her sent.If you have any questions or would like to try her out in person please feel free to ask.I am selling off some of my other guitars and gear so please check out my other listings.
