This is a very nice Vintage Ludwig Super Supraphonic 6" X 14" Snare Drum. It is a Chrome over Brass Shell (COB) and was made in 1958-59 and has a Blue Keystone TRANSITION BADGE. It has NO PITTING in the Chrome and weighs 10 lb. (both indicate COB.) This drum features Nylon Snares with the appropriate mounting system. Two of the snares are missing their brass collars and the snares can use some adjusting and tightening (see photos 10 & 11.) There is a tiny dent just below the badge in the opposite panel (see photo 12.) Nice vintage used top head with brand-new REMO snare head.This Rare and Exceptional Drum will be sold with NO RESERVE.
