SG's with the 'A' suffix, were Yamaha's second mass produced electric guitar design. Here Yamaha did away with any pretense of borrowing anyone else's design ideas. Its' revolutionary offset design set this guitar apart from all others as one of the most radical and yet beautiful designs to have been produced. Though less well known it remains as individual and iconic as the Stratocaster or the Les Paul in the annals of electric guitar design. There have been reissues, but this is one of the vintage originals. These are rare birds as they were not regularly imported to the USA. Most are still in Japan.Overall the guitar is in great condition. Replacement Vibrato Bar. Two bridge saddles replaced. All else seems to be original.Feel free to ask any questions that this description has not answered for you. This guitar and seller are located in the USA.Shipping price given is for Continental USA only, includes Packing, Shipping by USPS, Insurance for full value, and Adult Signature requirement.
