If you want a nice looking genuine vintage Gibson USA SG, then you wont be disappointed with this. This is a 1993 Gibson SG Special, in Ebony with Ebony fretboard. Most don't have the "black on black" look going on, so there aren't many of these particular versions Ebony with ebony fretboard about. I wanted a nice SG to add to my guitar collection and this was the one for me when I saw it. It was my intention to play it, however I haven't and it has just been in a stand looking pretty. I feel that this guitar is in very good condition generally for its 24 year age, having no major dings or issues and only the minor expected marks here and there and polishing swirls. I paid good money for the guitar itself and I then bought and had fitted a pair of new Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro Slash Signature Humbucker zebra pickups. These sound and look absolutely awesome. These are new and unused since being fitted and cost me £200-00, plus the fitting. The original Gibson USA pickups are absolutely fine and also included, in the box for the Slash pickups, these are stamped on the back Gibson USA. It also had new strings, a polished chrome toggle and bridge pickup surround fitted, which all go to the overall great look. The original strap buttons will be put back on, as it had strap lock buttons fitted. The serial number stamped on the rear of the headstock is "90065584" and below this it is stamped "Made In U.S.A". As SGs go I feel that this one looks very nice indeed and stands out. The sound is superb and this would make a great gigging guitar or nice Gibson for someone to own for any reason. I feel I have priced it fairly, given it is heading into the age bracket where it will only be going up in desirability and value and the addition of high quality new pickups being included also. All in all this is a great guitar. PLEASE NOTE: I always describe items to the very best of my knowledge at the time of listing and include the best images I can manage. There are no guarantees or warranties offered and all items are sold as seen and described on a used sale basis. The postage stated is for UK shipping and I will also ship worldwide using ebays international shipping service, if the item applies to that service. The cost involved covers all aspects i.e the postage cost, packaging materials and delivery run.The winning bidder can also choose to collect the item in person if preferred, when mutually suitable. I am not a trader and I work long changeable shifts and also have a very busy life. I can also be called to work away at a moments notice due to the nature of what I do. So to be on the safe side please allow up to 5 days from payment being made for dispatch to take place. Items should be dispatched sooner than this usually, but this has been stated to cover things just encase, so I have mentioned this here to avoid any disappointment's.Payment is required at close of auction. Options are paypal or cash on collection.
