Up for sale is a rare and super versatile all-tube Soldano X99 preamp. It is in very good cosmetic condition and works well. It comes with a copy of manual. In my opinion the X99 has more gain than the SLO and better cleans. Unlike the SLO, you can engage the bright switch on the lead overdrive channel. Soldano amplification has been used by Eddie Van Halen, Eric Clapton, Prince, Lou Reed, Motley Crue, Mark Knopfler, Warren Haynes, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani , Stevie Ray Vaughan and countless others. SOLDANO has been the name of the game for incredible tone and reliability. Shipping and insurance will be $65 inside lower 48 states, $105 to Canada, and $150 to the rest of the world.
