Up for auction is a Moog Source, Model 341 A, S/N 2884.I have owned this for about 10 years and have very much enjoyed it. Cosmetically it is only fair to good, which you can see from the photos - It has been this way since I bought it and I never had the chance to do a good cleanup on it. The following are more details after recently testing it:
All audio output is working as expected and sounds good.Front panel membrane switches are all working. There was some concern by the original winning bidder from the first listing (who did not buy) about the condition of the switches. The front panel may have been replaced by the previous owner before me as the position of control panel is very slightly off center but is barely noticeable. There is also a small scratch in the plastic on the lower right corner of the emphasis button, however it is working fine.Editing of patches is working fine. I did note that saving patches does not seem to be working, so a battery replacement is likely needed. This really needs to be looked over by a tech to confirm this (see below)Sequencer and arpeggiator are working as expected.Keys all work and no triggering issues. The keyboard is even with no key bed issues (i.e. "wavy" keys).As you can see from the pictures cosmetically this keyboard needs cleanup and restoration cosmetically.I would strongly suggest the winning bidder take this keyboard to a tech for a checkup, cleanup and battery replacement. Please be very aware of this before bidding as this was an issue for the first winning bidder who backed out. This is the reason this keyboard is priced less than other ones that have been fully restored and cleaned up. If you are unsure please ask questions BEFORE the auction ends. If this is an issue for you please do not bid. This keyboard is around 35 years old so it will not be perfect and few I have seen are.This auction will include the keyboard and standard power cable. This will be shipped by FedEx with signature confirmation..
