The kit is painted with a gorgeous green lacquer, you can see the wood grain through the paint. Dressed with golden hardware makes it a beautiful combination. There are a few small marks here and there, just a few light ones. Hard to picture but I did my best. I took good pictures of each drum front and rear so you can appreciate the great condition of the kit, as well as close up of the imperfections at the end of this ad. This is the MC, not MC absolute. This shells are thicker and heavier. I like them much more, they seem sturdier and better constructed.10x8 tom12x9 tom14x11 tom16x14 floor tom16x16 floor tom20x18 bass drum 14x5.5 snare drumI'm doing a search now on eBay and the YMC with the most pieces is a 6-piece selling for $4800, check it out yourself. So paying $3295 for a kit like this one I believe is an excellent deal.
