Description Brand: Fender Country/Region of Manufacture: United States Exact Year: 1982
*Video... this video is dry... unplugged... to showcase the incredible Reverb like ringing harmonically rich tone of this exceptional instrument... plugged in is fantastic * recorded on iPhone 5https://youtu.be/RVPboAhrFVUAnother incredible Stratocaster from Fender!1982 Fullerton made Fender Stratocaster in Cherry Burst7 lbs 4oz Super light and highly resonant. Dan Smith needed to turn Fender around. He specially selected high grade tone wood... not the 'lead filled' wood of late CBS era that was sinking Fender. Dan succeeded and these new guitars with attention to quality brought Fender back to life.*This one is dripping mojo ! Plays great with low action and no buzzing due to pro setup included fret leveling and crown. Lots of fret life left.*This is one of the coolest strats I have come across... authentic play wear... man has she been played... and for a reason... sounds awesome! plenty of lacquer wear... imagine how much play above the 12 fret it takes to wear the finish down to the wood on the heel?! And, the frets are still good. A few dings but nothing major, not abused or any sign of being dropped... I would say babied with this much play. No structural issues whatsoever.X1 pickup in bridge with a bit higher output is sonic heaven... neck and middle more vintage tone... guitar rocksAll original except pots... But... I found an unsoldered pot set with switch from '81 '82 Fullerton strat of same make that are included to bring her back to date.Original Trem arm included Original case middle latch gone but works fineI can't stress enough how monsterous a guitar this is. The guitar plays like new... International buyers contact me for rate... thanksSatisfaction guaranteed !
