This is a 100% original stock 19966 Gibson ES 330 guitar.
No mods or changes. My friend Dave purchased this guitar brand new in 1966. He has been using it ever since. Health issues force a sale of this wonderful instrument.
The top is in beautiful condition. Has some age lines but no damage.
The binding is tight and clean all around.
The back is in nice condition. No buckle marks or paint loss. It has a spot where the crappy straps that Gibson made in the 60's sometimes will make a mark in the finish. I took pictures of it. There is a lot of glare but you can see the mark. I have seen them much worse than this. A luthier told me he could sand and polish out the marks BUT I wont do that to the original finish.
The neck has a few bings on the back I tried to picture. Not bad. The head stock has some bings too.
The frets are worn but still good. The fretboard is rosewood and has some playing wear from 50 plus years playing. Never re-fretted. Nut is original. Truss rod is perfect and the cover is original.
It pays and sounds incredible.
The knobs bridge tuners and pickups are original. A nice collectors grade guitar. Not mint but very good condition. Way better than most you find. And the price is right too.
The case is original and in very good condition. All the latches work. Less than 7 pounds make it a great guitar to gig with. Canadian buyers please email for shipping rate. And excuse the glare.
