Guild X50This is a fabulous little Guild X50 made in Hoboken, New Jersey USA in 1957.It is a hollow body guitar with a sixteen and a half inch lower bout and a scale of twenty-fourand a half inches. It has a single pickup which gives the guitar a great sound and there are volume andtone controls with the original knobs. The bridge is adjustable and all wooden and the tailpieceis a trapeze model. The black scratchplate is all original and undamaged. The fingerboard contains twenty frets; and the headstock has the original three on a side striptuners in metal and the ''Guild'' logo.There are some losses of finish on the body, neck and headstock as would be expected, and a little shrinkage in the binding but it is all complete and original.This is a really good playing guitar acoustically and electrically - it holds tune perfectly and isvery easy to play. This is a very early Guild and it comes in a fitted hardcase.
